Applicants are eligible to migrate via State or Territory government agency nomination. The minimum score for subclass 190 is 60 points in the points assessment, in the areas of age, occupational skills, work experience, academic qualifications, English language ability and State or Territory government agency nomination.
If an applicant is in Australia they must hold a Bridging visa A, B or C or a substantive visa. Applicants’ skills must be nominated by a State or Territory government agency when invited to apply for this visa by the Minister. The eligible occupation of the candidate must be assessed by the assessment authority and the English language ability also be assessed by various English language ability testing systems. (Unless they hold an eligible passport)
